It has been said that there is one who does not paint merely to please the eye but to shake the soul of the viewer. From what I’ve seen here that one is Csaba Markus. He seems to embrace the paintings of the Renaissance for he verges on such work by Botticelli, Caravaggio or Michelangelo.
